DB Century

11/02/24 DBC / DBC Lite - 9 Cities Century Tour **7:00 AM Start from Trek Bicycle Allen**

Please join Manny Taveira (DB Century – 18.5-19.5) or Kevin Vinson (DB Century Lite – 17.0-18.5) as they lead the DB Century groups on a 9-city century tour. DBC Lite did this same route in September. This route keeps us close to the Trek Allen Store. The forecast calls for a high of 75 degrees, winds out of the SE at 13 MPH and a 75% chance of rain. This could change between now and Saturday.

This route is 102.5 miles. There are 4 rest stops at mile markers 23.4, 42.7, 65.2 and 83.1. Based on the weather we might not need all 4 rest stops. We will make that decision when we are out on the road. It’s important that riders register early. The preference is to have at a minimum, 8 to 10 riders registered before 8:00 PM on Friday evening. This allows Manny and I to give the staff at the Trek Allen Store a heads up that the rides are on or off.

This is a DROP ride. Please have a SAG plan available in the event of any problems. You must register for this ride on the PBA website.

Start Time: 7:00 AM - please arrive by 6:45 for check-in and ride briefing.

Start Location: Trek Bicycles Allen, 190 E Stacy Road #1704, Allen

Parking: Park in the lot behind the Trek shop

Pace: DBC Lite (17.0 – 18.5) / DBC (18.5 – 19.5)
