It’s going to be warm so start hydrating on Friday. Temps at start time already in the low 80’s with a +5 real feel. Winds out of the SSW at 9 to 11 through the whole ride.

I picked a traditional route with an Ohio return so if anyone’s not feeling it, there will be an Independence option to short-cut the route a couple miles.

First rest stop at 24 miles with a second stop option for a “splash and dash” at Renner and Shilo. The ride is currently full, and we plan to stay at the low end of the parameters (15-16.5 average) with the heat, so if you want to ride faster or harder move up to Tweeners long or DB Lite. If you cancel, please add a post so those on the wait list can sign up.

If you are up front, please rotate out frequently (especially into the wind) so you don’t bonk after you’ve done the hard work. Another words “pace yourselves”.

This is a no-drop ride. Ride start time is 7:00 am from Spring Creek at Coit. Please plan to arrive by 6:45 so we can take attendance and talk about safety.
