Step Up will roll out from Gulledge Elementary at 7:00 AM on Saturday, 08/09/2025. We will do the Ridgeview 4 Cities route as posted on the Step Up Rides page. 33 miles with two rest stops at miles 12 and 22. The weather is forecast to be sunny with temps in the high 70's to mid 80's but with feel like temperatures in the 90's, and moderate winds from the South. There is an option to shorten this route if there are issues with heat tomorrow. Please start hydrating today for your weekend rides. Our pace will be a relaxed 13 to 14.5 mph - depending on the group. We will keep the group together and accommodate the slowest rider. f you are very comfortable riding, and even pulling on the Novice Ride, you should be ready for Step Up. Be at Gulledge by 6:45 AM with tires, brakes and chain all checked. And don't forget water bottles, with one filled with electrolytes.
